BABYCORN PEPPER SALT
An all-time favourite. A hit for cocktails parties as also a healthy snack for children. You may just have to vary the amount of spice to suit your taste.
Ingredients
480g babycorn 80g cornflour Oil 16g ginger, finely chopped 20g garlic, finely chopped 50g spring onions, finely chopped 8g green chillies, finely chopped 20g celery, finely chopped 8g salt 8g pepper powder
Method
Cut babycorn into small bite sized pieces. Dust them with cornflour and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the babycorn till golden brown. Drain off excess oil. Heat a little oil in a pan and sauté all the ingredients over low heat for two minutes. Add salt and pepper. Sprinkle soya sauce and sauté for two more minutes. Add babycorn and stir till it is all well coated. Serve immediately.
